The U14s lit up Barcelona with a string of standout performances, bowing out only to the eventual champions.
- Friday: A commanding 58–26 win over St Joseph’s (Ireland). Zach Walters led all scorers with 19, with contributions across the roster sealing the result.
- Saturday morning: A 68–44 victory against Deree Athletic (a Greek program based in the USA). Zach topped the charts again with 18, while Todd added a vital 11 and Mubarak chipped in 9.
- Saturday afternoon: The marquee matchup with PHD Hoops, a US representative team. Playing their second game of the day in intense heat, the Saxons battled hard in a 45–88 defeat—PHD’s toughest game of the weekend.
- Sunday: A gritty 61–52 comeback win over India’s King’s Court Jalandhar (with a strong Canadian contingent). Todd led with 19 in a superb all-round team display.
Well played to all the boys and coaches, who represented the Saxons with spirit and skill—a credit to the club. Best of luck to all of the team for their next exciting chapter.
