Membership Fees

Our membership fees explained...

  • Fees for 2026/27: U10s and U12s (£420), U14s, U16s and U18s (£480). These are split into 12 equal monthly payments, either £35 or £40 respectively.
  • Fees are collected for membership to the Gloucester Saxons and are the same every month, regardless of how many training sessions are held. There will be months where there are fewer sessions, i.e., December or June, but the fees are unchanged.
  • We do not collect any additional fees for playing games or events – these are all included in the monthly membership fee.
  • The Gloucester Saxons do not entertain membership breaks. If a player wishes to stop playing for a period, their membership shall be deactivated. They are welcome to re-join the club at a later stage but this is subject to capacity.
  • In some circumstances, such as a serious injury, the club will consider a pause on the collection of membership fees.
  • The club is currently developing a policy to provide assistance to families suffering from financial hardship.
  • All players who are playing in competitive teams will be required to register on Play HQ which does include an annual fee which goes to Basketball England and covers individual player insurance etc.
  • Our planned off-season break will once again be in May/June during the school exam period where we lose the hall.
  • There are other isolated occasions where the hall is unavailable, such as a College Open Day – on these we may be forced to cancel a training session. We always try to reschedule these where possible.
  • On occasions we may organise coaching camps, usually in the school holidays. These will have a fee for attending that is collected via Spond.
